Tucson Police support second annual 'Stand Up to Stop Violence' | Community Spirit

Tucson Police Department will be supporting the 'Stand Up to Stop Violence' second annual fundraiser, by collecting new or gently used stuffed animals, and you can help.
The stuffed animal collecting will start today and run until September 2, with officers accepting stuffed animals from residents around Tucson. Stuffed animals can be given to patrol officers at any time day or night, or dropped off at any of the five substations during normal business hours.
Stuffed animals collected during this month will ultimately be donated at the 'Stand Up to Stop Violence fundraiser event to benefit Emerge! Center to Prevent Domestic Abuse and the Blair Charity Group. The event is scheduled for September 9 at 7 p.m. at the Fox Theater.
