High tea and teddy bears for PAWS fundraiser | Events

Have you ever experienced a ‘high tea’ before?  This is your chance to do just that and to help a worthwhile cause while you are at it.  This Sunday is the 7th annual High Tea Benefit to raise funds for the P.A.W.S.; Professional Association of Women’s Services, an auxiliary of Assistance League of Tucson.

Guests are invited to wear their favorite hat, heels and to bring their special friends.  Both tea and fun will be served up in this lovely setting. 

Proceeds will benefit children in crisis and need, by raising funds for the Teddy Bear program that supplies bears to 20 different agencies in the Tucson area.  Groups like law enforcement, child welfare, emergency rooms and school districts are just a few that reap the rewards of this event.  There is also a Community Outreach Program, attached to this program that supports local agencies by providing books, education scholarships, grooming kits and snacks. 

P.A.W.S mission is to enrich the lives of children in the community.

COST:  Tea for one $45; tea for two $85
