7th Annual Family Festival in the Park | Events
Looking for something the entire family can enjoy? Stop on by Reid Park and catch this festival – guaranteed to be something for everyone.
This is a free event for the entire community, it’s all about having fun as a family, and a chance to see the new programs Tucson Parks and Recreation has.
Tucson Parks and Recreation is anticipating over 9,000 people showing up for the festival. A list of the activities you can expect at the festival follows:
Stage entertainment, carnival games, inflatables, crafts, a golf clinic, tennis games and demonstrations of pottery, and drawing being offered by the leisure class unit; there will even be various vendors serving food and drinks.
Reid Park Zoo will have free admissions on that day, and the Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center will be hosting an afternoon of free swimming from noon to 4 p.m. Tucson City Golf will also be offering a free 10 minute golf instruction at the Randolph Driving Range, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Don’t forget to stop by the Parks and Recreation booth at the festival and see what’s being offered in the upcoming year.
